I made my first piece of jewelry because I had a set of earrings and a bracelet, and I wanted a necklace to match. After many searches, and not finding just what I wanted, I decided to try making my own necklace. I enjoyed the process so much, I decided to make other items, mainly as a stress reliever. I design and make costume jewelry. My favorite pieces to make are earrings, I just love long, dangly, noisy earrings! I have friends who are more artisans than I am, and they make beautiful pieces, but I wanted to make items that look nice but would not break your heart if you lost them (or break your bank to purchase them in the first place!).
